Ease of Use and Installation
The projector may be compact, but it is sturdy at 20.7 lbs. You might not want to constantly move it around the house. However, if you do you won’t spend hours resetting it up. First, you don’t have to set up a screen, and it is easier center images on a wall. The projector also comes with a wall mount for flexible installation.
Since it is a short-throw projector, you only need two feet of space to cast a 120” picture, making it ideal for use in small apartments and dorm rooms. The built-in Android interface for TV combined with the included remote makes it a breeze to stream your favorite content from almost any platform.
- Comes with a built-in Yamaha sound system
- Wirelessly connectivity for easy installation
- Bright, immersive images
- Simple Android TV interface
- Compact and sturdy design
- The slow lag time is frustrating during fast-paced action games.
- Its solid weight makes it difficult to easily move the projector to a different room or outside.
If you’re worried that image quality will suffer without a screen, you can relax. Even though your content is displayed on your clean and décor-free wall, images are still sharp, bright, and crystal clear.
The true 3-chip technology ensures that colors are accurate and bright. The technology also helps to prevent color-bleeding or a rainbow-effect that can distract viewers from the action. The LS300 produces a full-HD HDR picture so you’ll feel like you’re at a movie theater. The multi-array laser ensures whites are bright and blacks have depth.
It’s not uncommon for a home theater projector to come with built-in speakers, but Epson to it a step farther with the LS300. It comes with Sound by Yamaha which is a 2.1 speaker system. While you won’t get surround sound, you’ll notice a difference over your TV speakers.
If you want to use an external speaker, you easily can. Simply connect your Bluetooth enabled device.
The overall consumer opinion is favorable, though gamers are not thrilled with the slow input lag. The weight of the small projector also surprises some people when they try to lift it out of the box. Consumers do love how easy it is to set up, and the flexible installation. Image quality is also getting good reviews.
